For VIRTUALITY, we’re bringing two realities together. The physical IZAKAYA in Dayton, and its 1:1 virtual twin inside VRChat. Both worlds will be live, synced, and visible to each other through portal windows inside the physical venue and online in the virtual venue. Whether you’re dressing up IRL or logging in as your digital self, this is your night to represent who you are across both worlds.

VTUBERS & VIRTUAL ATTENDEES:

• You’ll join the crowd from inside the VRChat version of IZAKAYA.
• Portal screens will show the real venue in near real time, and we’ll be able to see you too.
• Feel free to come as your main avatar or a themed event fit.
• Some VTubers may even make an appearance, performing or interacting across the portal connection. If you are a VTuber this is an open invitation to hang out with us, physically or virtually!

PHYSICAL ATTENDEES & COSPLAYERS:

• Think of this as a “cross-world” cosplay event! VTuber-inspired characters, original avatars, or streamer alter-egos all fit the theme.
• Traditional or pop-culture cosplay is also welcome, but this night celebrates the VTuber and virtual self aesthetic first.
• You’ll be able to interact with virtual guests through our live portals, so expressive, recognizable outfits and accessories help bridge the gap.

BOTH WORLDS:

• Lights, music, and visuals will be synchronized across the physical and virtual venues, powered by a custom shared lighting and visual setup.
• Both sides will experience the same show, in near real time, latency permitting.
• Be part of the shared energy! Wave to each other, dance, connect, and make both realities come alive.

Dress Code Inspiration:

• VTuber Core (idol, streamer, futuristic, stylized)
• Virtual Streetwear (tech fits, holographics, bold contrasts)
• Creator Energy (custom avatars, reactive lighting, motion fits)
• Anything expressive that says “this is me, online or offline.”

Bonus:

Dual-world moments (physical + virtual) will be captured for our official recap.

1. Physical Entry:

• This is a 21+ event. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for entry.

• No outside food or drinks. All bar service will be provided on-site.

• All bags are subject to search. Refusal = no entry.

• No weapons, large props, or obstructive cosplay items.

• Respect staff, attendees, and equipment, in both worlds.

• No re-entry without authorization.

• Do not troll or harass virtual attendees shown through portal feeds.

2. Virtual Entry:

• This is a 18+ event. VRChat age verification required.

• Access is free through the IZAKAYA VRChat world.

• Respect the world and its participants.

• No disruptive avatars or spam.

• Audio and visuals will be synced, please avoid actions that disrupt the shared feed.

• Do not troll or harass physical attendees shown through portal feeds.

3. Shared Etiquette:

• Consent applies across both worlds, do not film, stream, or capture others without permission.

• Treat both realms with respect. Remember: everything you do is mirrored.

• Violators of portal conduct may be removed from both instances.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or disconnect anyone who breaks the signal.

Cross-Reality Cosplay

This event celebrates cosplay without borders, a bridge between the real and virtual. At //SIGNAL-006: VIRTUALITY, both sides of IZAKAYA come alive: the physical venue in Dayton, and its virtual twin inside VRChat. Through live “portal” screens, you’ll see, and be seen by, guests in the other world.

Whether you’re stepping into the bar or loading into the metaverse, your cosplay connects the two realities.

VTubers & Virtual Guests

• Appear as your main avatar, themed fit, or a new digital persona.

• You’ll be visible through the live portals inside the real venue.

• The entire show (lighting, visuals, and DJ performance) will be synced across worlds using DMX + VRSL Streaming technology.

• Some VTubers may appear both physically and virtually, creating a shared “dual presence.”

Physical Cosplayers

• VTuber-inspired looks are encouraged, idol-core, streamer fits, or avatar-style fashion.

• You’ll appear on the portal feeds to our virtual guests, so expressive, bold, and identifiable cosplay works best.

• All standard cosplay rules apply: no weapons, safe mobility, and respect between guests.
